  • First teachers’ online meeting.
  • Getting parents permissions and present the project to families.
  • Pre-evaluation for teachers, students and families.
  • Students learn safety rules playing a game.
  • The European Weather Diary: Every two weeks, students become meteorologists. They will take a photo or record a short video clip  stating their location, the current date, the temperature, and a brief description.
  • Mascot: In teams, students will create a unique project mascot. The final creature will be a "Spring Creature" representing the biodiversity of all partner countries.
    Once a team finishes their creature, they must agree on a name for it and write a short description of its "personality." All students awill vote for their favorite creature.

April

  • The Logo: Using digital tools , students collaborate to design a project logo. They must negotiate and agree on symbols and colors that reflect our joint mission of friendship and nature.
  • Votations for best logo and best mascot.
  • The Spring Dictionary:The pages are dedicated to spring terms or festivals. For each entry, every school contributes to one page and the other schools write the the word in their mother tongue, a pronunciation audio clip, a photograph, video or drawing.
  • The European Bloom-Wall:  Each school is responsible for decorating their specific "plot of land" on the mural. When combined, it will reveal a massive, interconnected spring landscape showing how the season travels from the South to the North of Europe.

May

  • The Virtual Gallery of Spring: In this activity, students will observe the arrival of spring in their local environment and express it through art. These masterpieces will then be curated into a collaborative virtual museum.
  • Spring Wishes Calendar:To celebrate the peak of the season, we will create a digital Calendar for the month of May. Each day of the month will be designed by a different partner school. When a user clicks on a date, a "hidden door" opens to reveal a surprise: it could be a student's wish for the planet, a traditional spring proverb.
